About the Role

Foundation Theatres seeks an experienced and organized Ticketing Manager to lead the operational delivery of ticketing across a diverse portfolio of live entertainment events. This role involves end-to-end management of ticketing operations, ensuring accurate setup, seamless event delivery, and successful implementation of commercial ticketing strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the operational delivery of ticketing across Foundation Theatres' venues and productions.
  • Manage end-to-end ticket event builds, pricing, inventory, allocations, and on sales.
  • Oversee ticketing operations from event setup through to settlement, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Act as the primary operational contact for our commercial ticketing partner, managing system enhancements, troubleshooting, and integrations.
  • Monitor ticket sales, prepare reports and forecasts, and identify opportunities to maximise revenue.
  • Implement pricing strategies, promotional offers, and ticketing initiatives in collaboration with the Head of Marketing & Ticketing.
  • Drive continuous improvement of ticketing systems, processes, and customer experience.
  • Ensure governance, financial controls, and ticketing best practice are maintained across all events.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of ticketing experience with a large commercial ticketing service provider.
  • Strong operational judgement with the ability to balance accuracy, speed, and commercial priorities in a live ticketing environment.
  • High attention to detail, particularly in event builds, pricing structures, inventory control, and customer-facing information.
  • Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure, particularly during on sales, system issues, or high-demand events.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex ticketing information into clear guidance for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Confidence working with multiple stakeholders, including producers, internal departments, and external ticketing partners, often with competing priorities.
  • Commercial awareness, with an understanding of how ticketing decisions impact revenue, audience development, and customer experience.
  • Ability to lead through influence, particularly in a role that requires coordination across teams rather than direct authority over all stakeholders.
  • Strong systems literacy, with the ability to quickly learn, troubleshoot, and optimize ticketing platforms and integrations.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement, always looking for ways to streamline processes, improve accuracy, and enhance the customer journey.
