About the Role

Provide technical service and support to customers onsite and remotely, utilizing knowledge of electro-mechanical assemblies, system operations, programming, and equipment diagnostics. This role involves installing solutions, supporting in-house systems, presenting value-added services, promoting spare parts sales, and maintaining database integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Install components and solutions offered by Mitsubishi Electric Factory Automation, utilizing programming, calibrating, tuning, rebuilding, and maintaining customer equipment in the field.
  • Support in-house systems for diagnostics, including simulators, programming systems, and tools.
  • Present and sell customers value-added services such as CloudCNC, extended warranties, optional functions, machine tuning, control upgrades, and training to achieve UPTIME goals.
  • Promote the sales of spare parts to customers to assist in machine UPTIME.
  • Enter all technical claims, service activity, follow-ups, and customer-related inquiries into the database, maintaining data integrity.
  • Cooperate with and take instruction/support advice from Senior Engineers.

Requirements

  • BSEET or equivalent related experience.
  • Some experience in field service for industrial automation.
  • Knowledgeable on electrical and mechanical tools for machine repair.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Hands-on knowledge of volt meters, oscilloscopes, and other test/measuring equipment.
  • Ability to read and understand technical documentation, including schematics, logic, and procedures.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective customer and colleague relationships.
  • Organization skills for arranging travel plans and service call schedules.
  • Flexibility to travel with limited notice to meet customer expectations.
