About the Role
ClearChoice Dental Implant Centers are seeking a highly skilled Dental Hygienist to work with an innovative implant company, offering top compensation and benefits. The role promotes dental health by completing dental prophylaxis, providing oral cancer screening and radiographic studies, charting conditions of decay and disease, and performing procedures in compliance with the dental practice act.
Responsibilities
- Work in partnership with the doctor to capture prosthodontic exam information for implant treatment planning.
- Collaborate with Sales Consultants to ensure world-class patient care and achieve revenue targets.
- Prepare treatment rooms according to prescribed procedures and protocols.
- Prepare patients for dental hygiene treatment by welcoming, soothing, seating, and draping them.
- Provide information to patients and employees by answering questions and requests.
- Maintain dental hygiene instrumentation by sharpening, sterilizing, and selecting instruments.
- Select materials and equipment for dental hygiene visits based on patient's oral health.
- Complete dental prophylaxis by cleaning teeth, beneath gum margins, around abutments and restorations of implant crowns/bridges, and beneath full arch fixed implant restorations.
- Detect disease by performing oral cancer screenings, examining gingiva and oral/peri-implant mucosa, assessing recession levels, and taking digital radiographs.
- Clean and polish removable appliances.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, plaque control, postoperative instructions, and future appointments.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and protect operations by adhering to privacy policies.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
- Conserve dental resources by using equipment and supplies efficiently.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience as a hygienist.
- Commitment to providing a world-class patient experience.
- Professional appearance.
