About the Role

Sodexo is seeking an Executive Chef 1 for Harmony Charter Schools in Austin, Texas, to manage culinary operations, including training and food quality across the district. Responsibilities

  • Manage purchasing, inventory, menu compliance, food production, and food cost analysis across multiple sites
  • Oversee PrimeroEdge food management system and support menu development initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with Sodexo and USDA culinary standards, including recipes, food quality, and consistency
  • Coach, mentor, and develop frontline staff while delivering strong client and customer service
  • Maintain strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards, leveraging automated systems for inventory and operations

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a K-12 environment is preferred
  • Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
  • Minimum Functional Experience – 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
