About the Role
Cadence hires and develops leaders and innovators to impact the world of technology. This role involves managing information technology (IT) projects, guiding technical staff, and ensuring project execution aligns with budget, schedule, and scope. The position requires close collaboration with account teams to define services projects, create Statements of Work (SOW), and manage project plans and schedules to achieve customer success.
Responsibilities
- Plan, initiate, and manage information technology (IT) projects.
- Lead and guide the work of technical staff.
- Manage project execution to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope.
- Confer with project personnel to identify and resolve problems.
- Monitor or track project milestones and deliverables.
- Initiate, review, or approve modifications to project plans.
- Schedule and facilitate meetings related to IT projects.
- Direct or coordinate activities of project personnel.
- Work closely with the account teams to scope out services projects.
- Create a Statement of Work (SOW) and cost plans in collaboration with technical leads and other Cadence organizations.
- Lead cross-functional teams, ensuring successful management, execution, monitoring, and control of deliverables to achieve customer success and satisfaction.
- Create, maintain, and track project plans and schedules, activities, and issues associated with customer engagements.
- Drive project tasks to completion in accordance with schedule, scope, and cost constraints.
- Report status and other metrics related to project activity.
- Proactively identify, mitigate, and resolve issues.
- Manage and set priorities for resources across teams to achieve project objectives.
- Foster an environment of collaboration, trust, and accountability for project support teams.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and motivation to the cross-functional team while resolving internal conflicts.
- Contribute to best practices and efficiency improvements for operations/processes.
- Manage customer technical engagements, including deployment of new technology or paid services, ensuring alignment on deliverables and timelines.
- Track progress of customer engagements.
- Manage 3-5 customer engagements in parallel across multiple regions and technology domains.
- Effectively manage resources working on projects/engagements.
- Utilize JIRA, MS tools, and CoPilot to manage individual activities across multiple deliverables, customer projects, and Cadence products/business units.
- Manage product release using CRM tools such as SAP, JIRA, or Salesforce.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
- Utilize Microsoft 365 tools, including Excel and PowerPoint, to track and report progress for project milestones.
- Effective matrix management of resources.
- Background in electronics.
- Experience working with customers in a technology-based environment.
