About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Physiatrist (Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Physician) to join our growing multi-location practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician who values a steady weekday schedule, strong support staff, and the chance to make a meaningful impact helping injured patients recover and return to function.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with musculoskeletal, neurological, and functional impairments
- Perform comprehensive PM&R consultations and follow-up visits
- Manage patients involved in Workers’ Compensation and No-Fault cases
- Conduct and interpret EMG/Nerve Conduction Studies (preferred)
- Develop individualized treatment plans focused on pain relief, recovery, and function
- Coordinate care with clinical staff and referring providers
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation within the EHR
- Dictate notes directly into the EHR using speech-to-text software
Requirements
- MD or DO with residency training in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
- Active New York medical license (or ability to obtain)
- Experience with Workers’ Compensation and No-Fault cases preferred
- EMG experience preferred
