About the Role
Join one of the fastest-growing independently owned distributors in Northern California and Nevada. We are seeking a full-time Delivery Driver to support our San Francisco, CA branch.
Responsibilities
- Ensure appropriate merchandise to be delivered is packaged properly for shipment.
- Assist in unloading proper items off the truck at each stop on the route.
- Verify that merchandise being unloaded is correct and accounted for via shipping documents.
- Ensure general maintenance and safety of the vehicle.
- Assist in warehouse duties on an as-needed basis.
- Provide excellent customer service and teamwork.
Requirements
- Able to work 5:00 am - 1:30 pm.
- Overtime may be required as needed.
- Familiar with warehouse and delivery operations.
- Strong mathematical ability.
- Demonstrate professional behavior with an excellent customer service attitude.
- Familiar with computers.
- Must be able to pass a background/drug test.
- Must be able to pass a forklift test and drive test.
- Must hold a valid driver’s license with a clean MVR.
- Must be able to drive a 24 or 26' truck.
- Able to lift 70lbs or more.
- Able to work independently with little supervision.
- Able to work with a team.
