About the Role

We are seeking a Physical Security Systems Manager to join our Critical Infrastructure Protection team. This role is responsible for designing and implementing physical protections across all LCRA facilities. You will lead a team that uncovers vulnerabilities, develops security mitigations, and manages projects that protect some of the state’s most critical assets. Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain comprehensive enterprise physical security design and equipment standards.
  • Serve as a key member of the physical security assessment team to identify threats and vulnerabilities at LCRA facilities.
  • Design layered security systems that reduce overall security risk.
  • Oversee the implementation of physical security projects from statement of work development to installation and acceptance testing.
  • Develop close working relationships with other security groups, facility managers, engineers, and technology teams to ensure program success.
  • Help test and select the next generation of physical security hardware and systems.

Requirements

  • Twelve or more years of experience in a combination of electronic security system design, security system project management, performance of complex security assessments, or other relevant experience, including three years of leadership responsibility.
  • A degree(s) in security management, criminal justice or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
  • Class C Driver License
  • Successful completion of criminal background check
  • Pass the CJIS fingerprint-based background investigation according to the State of Texas standards
  • Maintain currency with all CJIS training requirements
