About the Role
Join an Agile development team supporting the architecture, development, and configuration of signals intelligence, radar, and communications prototype systems for Navy customers. You will focus on Kubernetes platforms and DevSecOps pipelines to enhance CI/CD, system reliability, and automation for scalable deployments.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC)
- Execute Kubernetes cluster setup, enhancements, and maintenance
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate IaC with hardware/software architecture
- Integrate and deploy containerized services into Kubernetes
- Ensure reliable and scalable deployments in collaboration with developer and integration teams
- Utilize tools such as Git, Ansible, GitLab, Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, and Vagrant to manage artifacts and environments
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation
Requirements
- Active TOP SECRET security clearance with SCI eligibility
- Willingness to work onsite
- 3+ years of related work experience in platform, DevOps, or software engineering
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with IaC tools like HELM, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
- Experience deploying and managing Kubernetes on bare-metal servers in multi-node clusters
- Experience with Linux operating systems, preferably Red Hat Linux
- Experience hardening operating systems and containers to meet DoD cybersecurity standards
- Ability to diagnose, resolve, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware and software components
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
