About the Role

Triple Cities Metal Finishing is seeking a motivated CDL A Driver to join our team. This role is crucial for maintaining quality, safety, and productivity through a hands-on approach.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport goods or passengers to their destinations.
• Safely load and unload cargo, ensuring it is secure and protected.
• Operate forklift and/or pallet jack.
• Log miles, driving hours, and other activities to comply with federal and state laws.
• Conduct vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Navigate routes using GPS, Geotab and other technology provided by the company.
• Complete necessary paperwork related to deliveries or driving.
• Report any issues or incidents immediately to dispatch.
• Develop strong relationships that create trust with our customers.
• Wear appropriate PPE (gloves, safety glasses) as required on all customer sites.
• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial License (CDL -A)
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen & DOT physical
• Previous experience as a CDL A Truck Driver
• Must be able to multitask while maintaining detail and accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communicator.
• Ability to identify issues and recommend solutions.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to use specialized testing tools and machinery.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, stoop, push, pull and reach.
• Ensure all products and parts meet stringent quality standards.
