About the Role

The Technical Product Manager is responsible for the end-to-end product lifecycle of highly technical enterprise cloud and managed services products. They drive business needs, stay connected to customer feedback, collaborate with technical teams, maintain market expertise, define product strategy, create roadmaps, and lead cross-functional teams to deliver value to clients. This role requires strategic thinking and a high degree of technical expertise.

Responsibilities

Leads the analysis, creation, ongoing management, and communication of assigned product roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
Conducts gap analysis to ensure products and services exceed marketplace options.
Monitors channel performance to recommend improvements and new product offerings.
Leads internal stakeholders (engineering, design, information security, sales, marketing) and external vendor partners in product implementation, launch, and sustainment.
Manages programs supporting customer adoption of hosted products and services.
Monitors and addresses product and client challenges with internal stakeholders.
Translates customer needs and technology directions into new features and services.
Researches and follows technical trends, collaborating with internal technical teams to ensure effective product requirement delivery.
Acts as a product owner in an agile team, documenting user stories, acceptance criteria, and product capabilities.
Gathers customer feedback to validate product performance against stated metrics.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in business, IT, Computer Science, engineering or related field OR Technical or Trade School in relevant field preferred.
Cloud Certification: AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud required.
3+ years' experience in hosting and/or managed services B2B product management required.
2+ years in a technical product management and/or managed services position with a provider of cloud, datacenter, utility, or critical environment services required.
2+ years of experience of strategic analysis related to system implementation in a B2B environment required.
2+ years working with cross-functional teams required.
Demonstrated combination of technical aptitude and high emotional intelligence required.
Excellent product management skills required.
Expert knowledge of data center processes and technology required.
Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills appropriate to all levels of the organization as well as clients required.
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Power Point, MS Project Visio, and MS Teams required.
1+ years Financial Industry (Credit Union) Experience preferred.
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred.
