About the Role
As a Teller, you will be the face of the bank, building, growing, and retaining customer relationships by providing quality customer service, answering questions, and making recommendations for banking options. This role is also crucial for fraud and risk management, requiring adherence to regulations and bank policies.
Responsibilities
- Accepting deposits
- Cashing checks
- Balancing a cash drawer accurately and efficiently
- Providing quality customer service
- Being friendly and courteous
- Answering customers’ questions
- Making recommendations based on a wide range of competitive banking options
- Adhering to current regulations, bank policies and procedures
- Identifying potential fraud
Requirements
- A high school diploma or high school equivalency
- Valid Driver’s License & reliable transportation
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficiency with a PC and associated programs (such as Microsoft Office)
- Strong customer service/sales experience
