About the Role

Canada's Children's Hospital Foundations (CCHF) is seeking an Intern, Data & Analytics for an 8-month contract. This role offers a unique development opportunity to join a passionate team working collaboratively to transform children's health in Canada. The intern will support the Data & Finance Team in transforming data into disbursements and tax receipting, contributing to the organization's mission.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in data hygiene to facilitate mission critical disbursements and tax receipting to Member Foundations.
  • Collaborate in Quality Assurance process for accuracy and completeness on data files.
  • Complete the data hygiene process using the proprietary method.
  • Update and run Python scripts to facilitate the Quality Assurance process.
  • Participate in developing disbursement reports i.e. Member Foundation reporting, Master Raw data reporting.
  • Help in developing the Member specific tax receipting reports for Member Foundations.
  • Assist as required on projects and tasks assigned.

Requirements

  • Proficient in Data structuring and cleaning.
  • Familiar with the Data Quality Assurance framework.
  • Keen on attention to detail.
  • Proficient beyond basic usage in Microsoft Excel to encompass advanced features/functions (including logical, text, lookup in reference and information).
  • Advanced in their organizational skills proven through an ability to work under pressure, meet prescribed deadlines with a sense of urgency, and make the most effective use of available resources.
  • Demonstrating professionalism through use of their communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Possessing superior written and oral communication, including active listening.
  • Able to work independently, creatively and proactively with minimal direction.
  • Residing in Ontario for the duration of their co-op placement.
