About the Role

InvestorCOM is seeking a Software Engineer to design, build, and evolve the software powering our compliance platform. This hands-on role involves contributing to the full software development lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-quality solutions for the wealth management industry.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain software features using modern engineering practices
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code meeting quality, performance, and security standards
  • Participate in code reviews and provide thoughtful feedback
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve software issues across all environments
  • Improve application performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability
  • Partner with Product, QA, and Engineering teams to deliver customer value
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand-ups, and retrospectives
  • Estimate work, communicate progress, and identify risks and dependencies
  • Support software releases and production issue resolution
  • Develop technical skills and stay current with modern engineering practices
  • Contribute to engineering standards, documentation, tooling, and processes
  • Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity while maintaining quality and security
  • Take ownership of assigned work from design through delivery

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of professional software development experience
  • Strong experience with C# and .NET
  • Experience with SQL Server and relational databases
  • Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
  • Experience developing or supporting applications hosted in Microsoft Azure
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, software design principles, and secure coding practices
  • Experience using Git and collaborative development workflows
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
