About the Role
InvestorCOM is seeking a Software Engineer to design, build, and evolve the software powering our compliance platform. This hands-on role involves contributing to the full software development lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-quality solutions for the wealth management industry.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software features using modern engineering practices
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code meeting quality, performance, and security standards
- Participate in code reviews and provide thoughtful feedback
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve software issues across all environments
- Improve application performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability
- Partner with Product, QA, and Engineering teams to deliver customer value
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Estimate work, communicate progress, and identify risks and dependencies
- Support software releases and production issue resolution
- Develop technical skills and stay current with modern engineering practices
- Contribute to engineering standards, documentation, tooling, and processes
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity while maintaining quality and security
- Take ownership of assigned work from design through delivery
Requirements
- 3–5 years of professional software development experience
- Strong experience with C# and .NET
- Experience with SQL Server and relational databases
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
- Experience developing or supporting applications hosted in Microsoft Azure
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, software design principles, and secure coding practices
- Experience using Git and collaborative development workflows
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
