About the Role
The Power Platform Developer/Business Analyst will identify development opportunities, and scope, build, deploy, and manage solutions to address specific business problems. This position will also manage and support the company’s projects and initiatives following the IT strategy.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain custom solutions supporting Human Resources, Payroll, Accounting, Operations, and Operations Support business units.
- Understand and work within corporate goals, strategies, philosophy, and profitability objectives.
- Obtain and maintain expert-level knowledge of the company’s business systems and data sources/structures.
- Compile and analyze data from internal systems to support management decision-making, delivering datasets, reports, and/or written summaries as required.
- Collaborate with internal customers to proactively understand business system needs and develop processes and solutions.
- Create data analysis/comparison reports.
- Create and modify reports/apps using Crystal Reports, Sage Report Designer, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
- Provide process review, recommend, and implement improvements.
- Stay current on IT trends and news.
- Provide support for end-user documentation and training.
Requirements
- B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of five years in programming and application development experience.
- Minimum of at least two years using Power Platform.
- Development experience with Crystal Reports, Web Forms, and/or other modern web technologies.
- Experience developing SQL queries to join and analyze disparate data sources.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite.
- Strong systems-thinking ability.
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with users in all departments and at all levels.
- Organized thinking and excellent problem-solving with the ability to think 'outside the box'.
- Demonstrated ability to develop solutions to business problems and articulate them clearly, both verbally and in written form.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Periodic travel to NY Offices required.
- Ability to provide 24 hours per day and 7 days a week coverage.

- $79,000 to $105,000 annually
