About the Role
Green Mountain Electric Supply is seeking a Full-Time Cable Solutions Team Member (2nd Shift) for their expanding Electrical Supplies business. This role involves all aspects of wire management, from receiving and cutting to shipping and inventory, while fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Receive wire orders
- Cut wire orders
- Ship wire orders
- Manage wire inventory
- Organize the wire room
- Engage in hands-on exploration of new opportunities
- Collaborate with the team to monitor and solicit feedback
- Identify improvement opportunities to support strategic growth
- Respool wire and cable for customer orders accurately and efficiently, minimizing scrap
- Operate wire cutting equipment safely and effectively
- Maintain clean and organized work stations
- Collaborate with team and support development of new ideas, designs, and business models
- Contribute to team effort and results
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities and develop plans
- Develop knowledge through on-the-job training, technical publications, and workshops
Requirements
- Able to work independently and within a team
- Wear appropriate PPE including safety glasses and steel-toe shoes/boots
