About the Role

As a Business Analyst, you’ll play a key role in shaping and delivering impactful solutions within agile software delivery teams. You will turn complex challenges into clear, actionable insights that drive meaningful change, guiding decision-making, defining requirements, and ensuring solutions meet user needs and strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Acting as the bridge between stakeholders and delivery teams to ensure solutions meet business and user needs
  • Eliciting, analysing and documenting business and technical requirements in agile delivery environments
  • Supporting Product Owners to prioritise and maintain well-defined backlogs aligned to project goals
  • Facilitating workshops, discussions and stakeholder engagement to clarify complex problems and drive decisions
  • Applying systems thinking to understand wider organisational impacts and improve processes, services and technology
  • Evaluating delivered solutions to ensure they meet desired outcomes and recommending enhancements where required

Requirements

  • Experience working within agile software delivery teams, including writing and managing user stories or tickets
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in complex, ambiguous environments
  • Ability to engage, influence and communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Experience using tools such as Jira, Confluence or GitLab
  • Knowledge or experience within Defence, Security or highly regulated environments is beneficial
  • A proactive, organised approach with strong attention to detail
  • Must be a UK national for clearance type
  • Must be able to gain and maintain the appropriate UK Government security clearance (SC)
