About the Role
We're hiring a Senior Software Engineer to build internal tooling that enables the rest of the business to operate efficiently. You'll own systems, apps, automations, and data tooling relied upon by go-to-market, operations, finance, and support teams. This role offers high leverage, multiplying the productivity of nearly every team at the company. You'll work closely with stakeholders to understand where time is lost to manual work, then design and ship pragmatic solutions. AI is central to delivering leverage, and we seek an engineer experienced in using AI coding tools and embedding AI/LLMs into internal tools.
Responsibilities
- Design and build internal applications and dashboards for self-service visibility.
- Connect SaaS systems and APIs, and build automations to eliminate manual work.
- Build and maintain data pipelines, reporting layers, and internal data access.
- Own the internal platform and developer experience, including deployment tooling and shared services.
- Partner with stakeholders to scope problems, prioritize, and ship solutions.
- Apply AI and LLMs to internal tooling, automating workflows and building assistants.
- Set standards for security, reliability, and maintainability in internally built software.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a track record of shipping production systems end-to-end.
- Strong full-stack ability, comfortable building backend services/APIs and internal UIs/dashboards.
- Experience integrating third-party APIs and SaaS platforms.
- Experience building automations and data flows between systems.
- Solid grounding in data: SQL, building pipelines, and data modeling.
- Cloud and deployment fluency; ability to stand up, deploy, and operate services.
- Pragmatic, business-minded approach, optimizing for impact and time-to-value.
- Clear communication with non-engineering stakeholders.
- Comfort with ambiguity and ownership, driving loosely defined problems to solutions.
- Demonstrable hands-on experience building with AI, including AI coding tools and integrating LLMs/AI APIs.
- Readiness to share concrete examples of AI-powered work during the hiring process.
