About the Role

As a junior trader, you will help run and grow our Corporate/Issuer Equity Derivatives franchise. You will assist in pricing, hedging, booking, and risk-managing the full corporate product suite. You will also support institutional notes business lines.

Responsibilities

  • Run the book day-to-day, supporting pricing and marks, and executing and managing delta and other hedges.
  • Own the trade lifecycle end-to-end, from execution through settlement, including physical-share/144A mechanics and the segregated physical-shares account.
  • Partner with the structurer and quant teams to implement new instruments and validate their pricing, booking, and lifecycle.
  • Work alongside Trade and Product Control to reconcile bookings and P&L across the client, hedge, and funding legs.
  • Coordinate with Financial Resources and Treasury to ensure borrow and funding costs don’t quietly erode deal P&L.
  • Build the desk’s operational infrastructure—deal database, hedging and payout tools, and automated daily reporting—replacing manual workarounds with reliable, repeatable tooling.

Requirements

  • Resourceful junior based in New York, with exposure to corporate and equity derivatives and real trade-lifecycle fluency.
  • Wants to sit on a desk, learn the book thoroughly, and help build the business.
  • Values matter to you.
  • Bring your real self to work and live our values – trust, teamwork, and accountability.
  • Legally eligible to work at the specified location(s).
  • May be asked to complete an attribute-based assessment and other skills tests.
