About the Role

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing various community maintenance functions necessary to maintain and enhance the property's value. This role involves handling resident service requests and preparing vacant apartments for market-ready status, while consistently representing the company professionally and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and courteously to service requests, ensuring resident satisfaction.
  • Maintain a clean and well-maintained community environment.
  • Improve vacant apartments, making them market-ready and welcoming for new residents.
  • Perform diverse maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and appliance repairs.
  • Identify and address potential issues to prevent larger problems.
  • Represent ARI Apartment Management with a positive and professional attitude.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, colleagues, and vendors.
  • Work on-call rotations, responding to urgent needs after hours.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; Trade school and/or military training a plus.
  • 3+ years general maintenance experience (i.e. plumbing, electrical, carpeting, and painting, etc.).
  • CPO preferred, or must be willing to obtain within 60 days of employment.
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record and auto insurance required.
  • Ability to work on-call rotation, responding to after-hours emergencies.
