About the Role

Arcadis is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quality Manager to support the Gateway Hudson Tunnel Project (HTP), a critical infrastructure initiative. This role involves reviewing construction work plans and reporting on compliance and environmental permitting requirements as part of the Delivery Partner team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and implement a comprehensive quality plan aligned with client requirements and FTA regulations.
• Review and recommend acceptance of the contractor's quality plan.
• Assess and recommend approval of the contractor's testing and inspection plan.
• Monitor contractor's work for compliance with contractual requirements, manufacturer recommendations, industry standards, and approved submittals.
• Coordinate and monitor the implementation of the contractor's approved testing and inspection plan.
• Audit the contractor's quality plan implementation and verify documentation.
• Organize construction documentation and verify compliance with FTA's Safety and Security certification process.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience managing quality management systems for large public transportation projects, specifically in rail/rapid transit/tunnel construction.
• Possess advanced certifications (CQM/CQE) and training from reputable bodies.
• Familiarity and experience with the FTA Safety and Security certification program during the closeout phase of FTA-funded transportation projects.

• Ensuring compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and project specifications for tunnel construction.
• Providing training and guidance on quality assurance best practices.
