About the Role
The Senior Product Manager owns the full lifecycle of Salesforce products and capabilities that solve complex CRM challenges for the Inventory Sales organization. This role partners closely with sales leadership, operations, technology, and client-facing teams to identify business problems, define product strategy, build roadmaps, prioritize investments, and deliver scalable solutions that improve sales effectiveness, client engagement, account planning, contact management, opportunity management, and operational efficiency. The Senior Product Manager is accountable for translating customer and business needs into product outcomes, leading initiatives from discovery through launch and ongoing optimization, while ensuring measurable value for both clients and Cox Automotive.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end product lifecycle, including market research, discovery, strategy, roadmap development, backlog management, delivery, launch, adoption, performance measurement, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with Inventory Sales leaders and frontline users to identify CRM pain points and opportunities that improve sales productivity and customer outcomes.
- Define and execute product strategies for Salesforce capabilities supporting account planning, contact management, opportunity management, sales workflows, analytics, and customer engagement.
- Lead cross-functional teams through discovery, solution design, Agile delivery, launch readiness, and post-launch optimization.
- Use customer research, business value assessment, product performance data, and stakeholder feedback to drive prioritization and investment decisions.
- Establish success metrics and leverage data-driven insights to continuously improve product adoption, customer experience, operational efficiency, and business performance.
- Influence stakeholders across Sales, Operations, Product, and Technology organizations to align priorities and drive measurable business outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and 4 years’ experience in a related field.
- The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master’s degree and 2 years’ experience; a Ph.D. and up to 1 year of experience; or 16 years’ experience in a related field.
- Availability for rotational on-call duties outside of standard business hours may be required.
- To be employed in this role, you’ll need to clear a pre-employment drug test.
