About the Role
Push social creative strategy for high-profile Retail (grocery) clients, translating business challenges into social-first strategies that drive engagement, brand growth, and business results. Deliver thought leadership by identifying problems and finding solutions, analyzing performance, and optimizing strategies. Partner with the creative team to ensure creativity aligns with strategy and build knowledge of industry forces.
Responsibilities
- Manage and mentor team members, providing strategic guidance and fostering growth.
- Lead internal and client meetings with confidence.
- Translate client business challenges into social-first strategies.
- Deliver ongoing thought leadership to teams and clients.
- Analyze performance across social channels, uncover actionable insights, and optimize creative, content, and media strategies.
- Develop integrated social strategies that maximize the role of owned, earned, and paid social.
- Deliver briefs full of insights, inspiration, and updates based on creative feedback.
- Translate work into social creative.
- Audit industry examples and trends to develop a POV.
- Partner with the creative team to push creativity and ensure alignment with strategy.
- Build knowledge on macro/micro forces influencing client's business.
- Wear multiple hats, including client interaction, planning, calendars, writing briefs, and helping create content.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience developing social strategies across owned, earned, and paid social.
- Experience at an advertising agency.
- Experience using social listening, analytics, and platform insights to measure performance and optimize creative and content strategies.
- Experience presenting strategic recommendations and performance insights to senior clients.
- Experience as the daily lead on client businesses and developing client relationships.
- Experience managing and mentoring junior team members.
