About the Role

DV Trading is seeking an Operations Analyst to partner closely with the Director of Operations to design and manage the operational systems that power trading activity firmwide. This role is crucial for ensuring data integrity and seamless data flow, which are essential for all trading decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the growth and development of DV’s Operations team in London, establishing scalable processes and systems.
• Develop deep working knowledge of trading, clearing, and settlement across all asset classes.
• Own end-to-end operational processes including position reconciliation, pricing, settlements, PnL calculations, and intraday monitoring.
• Design a system of alerts, checks, and reconciliations to preserve data integrity and communicate breaks in real time.
• Understand trade execution methods and architect a more efficient system for consuming fills and distributing positions.
• Collaborate with developers to shape databases, trader tools, and position management GUIs.
• Create precise processes to streamline onboarding of new traders, strategies, and products.
• Evaluate operational feasibility of new trades/markets/exchanges and help tackle trading obstacles.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in an analytical or operational role within a trading environment.
• Clear thinker with advanced aptitude for breaking down complex problems.
• Strong communication skills and ability to advance many simultaneous discussions.
• Strong work ethic, desire to learn, and ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Independent and resourceful - willingness to take on challenges and figure out solutions.
