About the Role
Austin Gastro, powered by GI Alliance, is seeking a dedicated and reliable Physician Assistant to join a well-established general GI physician practice in South Austin, Dripping Springs & Kyle. This role offers the opportunity to provide superior, individualized patient care within a physician-led network that provides robust business and organizational support.
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient services under the direct supervision and responsibility of a physician
- See approximately 6 patients in the morning and 6 patients in the afternoon
- Complete patient histories and physicals
- Determine tentative diagnosis and order appropriate laboratory tests
- Counsel patient and family on health and disease
- Participate in all continuing education, training, and other requirements to remain in good standing for credentialing purposes at assigned medical facilities
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- State Licensed Physician Assistant - Required
- Strong work ethic, clear communication, professionalism & commitment to continuing education - Required
