About the Role
Arcadis is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Environmental Compliance Field Inspector to support the Gateway Hudson Tunnel Project (HTP). This role involves reviewing construction work plans and reporting on compliance and environmental permitting requirements for a critical infrastructure initiative.
Responsibilities
- Perform field audits of environmental documentation and field activities
- Review and prepare written technical reports documenting environmental construction compliance
- Report inconsistencies, environmental permitting requirements and contract specifications to the environmental compliance team
- Provide oversight of construction as it relates to environmental compliance
- Interpret scientific data and specifications
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, geology or a closely related discipline
- 8+ years of prior experience performing construction site inspections
- Ability to travel throughout the NY/NJ Metro Area
- Valid driver’s license
