About the Role
Mayo Clinic Healthcare in London, Imaging Department is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and supports a wide range of imaging specialties. We are recruiting highly skilled senior radiographers to join our expanding services.
Responsibilities
- Provide cover across the service as a Bank/Casual Worker.
- Carry out day-to-day duties in line with local policies and procedures.
- Maintain a safe environment and deliver a high standard of customer/service user care.
- Undertake all imaging procedures in line with existing modality guidelines, best practice (IRMER2017), CQC standards, SOR and RCR guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation (paper/electronic) in line with policy.
- Provide a courteous, professional service to customers/service users, colleagues and visitors.
- Follow health and safety requirements, including reporting hazards/incidents and using equipment safely.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with data protection requirements when handling information.
- Work independently where appropriate and escalate issues to the shift lead/manager.
- Build and sustain professional relationships within the Imaging team and multidisciplinary team.
- Complete mandatory training and comply with relevant policies (e.g., safeguarding where applicable).
- Be flexible to work a range of shifts (days/nights/weekends) as required, subject to availability.
- Carry out other reasonable duties within competence to support the service.
Requirements
- Diploma of the College of Radiographers or BSc equivalent.
- Current valid HCPC (Health Care Professional Council) registration.
- Trained to cannulate and administer contrast agents.
- The right to work in the UK.
- Able to converse in English.
