About the Role

Northrop Grumman UK is seeking a part-time Project Support Officer to join their departmental PMO. This role will support internal and customer projects critical to delivering defence and national security outcomes. The ideal candidate will work closely with project leadership, applying established project management processes and ensuring smooth coordination of project activities. This position is suited for an organized, detail-oriented, and proactive individual interested in a career in project management within a collaborative, mission-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide consistent administrative and coordination support across the project lifecycle.
  • Maintain and update essential project documentation, including schedules, planning materials, cost information, and meeting records.
  • Support the production and distribution of project reports and performance updates.
  • Coordinate project-related activities such as workshops, meetings, and stakeholder sessions.
  • Prepare agendas, capture actions, and ensure follow-up items are delivered.
  • Support risk and issue tracking and communicate updates to stakeholders.
  • Maintain project management systems and ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Assist with financial tracking, including invoice processing and monitoring budgetary information.

Requirements

  • Experience in an administrative or coordination role, ideally within project management.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • Ability to collect, manage, and share data accurately and consistently.
  • Experience maintaining organised and structured records.
  • Confident written and verbal communicator who works well in a collaborative team.
  • Must be able to gain and maintain relevant UK Government security clearance (SC).
