About the Role
The Department of Family, Interiors, Nutrition & Apparel at San Francisco State University is seeking part-time, non-tenure track lecturers for Nutrition & Dietetics for the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 semesters. This is a continuous recruitment for an applicant pool to fill temporary, as-needed assignments.
Responsibilities
- Teach Nutrition & Dietetics courses as assigned
- Engage in open-minded inquiry and reflection
- Foster critical thought and ethical professional practices
Requirements
- Submit a cover letter expressing interest in specific classes
- Submit a current Curriculum Vitae including teaching experience, dates, institution, and class size
- Provide contact information for two professional references familiar with teaching experience
- Must perform all work within the state of California

- Lecturer A/2: $5,507 – $6,677 per month
- Lecturer B/3: $6,221 – $13,224 per month
- Lecturer C/4: $6,825 – $14,523 per month
- Lecturer D/5: $8,593 – $15,211 per month
