About the Role
You will own marketing events globally, from intimate dinners to large-scale live shows. This role is crucial for driving pipeline, building relationships, and telling our story. You will collaborate with stakeholders to create unique and creative events, starting with hands-on execution and eventually building and leading a team. The role requires a blend of strategic thinking and practical execution.
Responsibilities
- Own strategy and logistics for events of all sizes and geographies, including international programs.
- Create unique conference activations beyond standard booths, such as executive experiences and sidecar events.
- Source, negotiate, and manage speakers, hosts, and talent, and oversee live production run-of-show.
- Partner with sales on VIP and target-account experiences, and develop event-sourced pipeline and post-event measurement strategies.
- Manage vendors, venues, and agencies globally, maximizing partner contributions.
- Oversee event budgets and contracts with precision.
- Manage stakeholders across various work streams, including creative, content capture, legal, and finance.
- Develop scalable processes for global event execution while maintaining creativity.
- Design bold and editorial event concepts.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience running high-impact events, including large-scale live experiences and international programs.
- Proven track record of creative, out-of-the-box concepts.
- Experience booking and managing talent, and producing live shows end-to-end.
- Comfort owning business outcomes, including partnering with sales and measuring pipeline impact.
- Strong vendor, venue, and agency management skills with negotiation abilities.
- An AI-forward approach to work, utilizing tools to enhance speed and quality.
