About the Role
FCM Meetings & Events is undertaking a significant global transformation program to standardize operations with an integrated technology and process stack. This 2-year program requires a Global Change Manager to lead the end-to-end change strategy and delivery, empowering local leaders to drive change within their teams. The role involves developing a global change framework and adapting it for regional and local implementation, ensuring success across various deployment modes and market nuances.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end change strategy for M&E SOM, aligned to the FCTG Change Framework and the Ready, Willing, Able model.
- Build on existing FCTG change IP, leveraging existing frameworks and learnings.
- Define and orchestrate the relay operating model: global framework, regional nuance, local delivery.
- Adapt change approach based on deployment mode and regional culture.
- Anticipate and plan for the programme's growing scope.
- Equip market and regional leaders to be the visible face of change.
- Invest in leader confidence and capability before market delivery.
- Coach M&E leaders on visible change leadership and embedding behavioral shifts.
- Identify and develop local change champions in each market.
- Partner with M&E Global GM, regional GMs, market leadership, and the central M&E SOM programme team for engagement.
- Develop programme-level communications strategy and frameworks, partnering with local resources for market-specific assets.
- Proactively identify and manage resistance through structured listening and feedback loops.
- Represent change interests in working groups, Steerco, and cross-functional forums.
- Assess change readiness in each market using the Ready, Willing, Able framework.
- Measure business readiness against activity, tracking indicators of genuine preparation.
- Define and track adoption metrics, sentiment indicators, and behavioral success measures.
- Support hypercare and post-go-live sustainment activities.
- Apply lessons learned from each market to refine the change approach.
- Partner with L&D resources to design and coordinate training for new technology, processes, and ways of working.
- Coordinate training delivery with Deployment to align with market sequencing and go-live windows.
- Build a sustainable capability uplift approach for post-go-live adoption.
- Integrate M&E SOM training assets into the wider FCTG learning ecosystem.
- Lead the design and delivery of the M&E SOM 'deployment-in-a-box' change toolkit.
- Build the foundation layer of the toolkit: change architecture, learning ecosystem, communications toolkit, product stewardship, and deployment readiness assets.
- Ensure the toolkit blueprint flexes for specific transitions and market nuances.
- Govern toolkit maintenance and continuous improvement.
- Conduct change impact assessments across all in-scope markets.
- Build and maintain stakeholder matrices, sentiment trackers, readiness indicators, and resistance maps.
- Use assessment outputs to shape enablement, communications, and training plans.
- Develop programme-level communications frameworks, including message frameworks, launch playbooks, and FAQ scripts.
- Partner with local comms, marketing, and brand resources to create market-specific assets.
- Manage two-way engagement through feedback loops, sentiment capture, and listening forums.
- Define training needs and design learning solutions with L&D.
- Coordinate training delivery against deployment sequencing.
- Capture training effectiveness and adoption feedback for continuous improvement.
- Manage change management reporting across the programme for leadership visibility.
- Coach M&E leaders and delivery team members on change practice.
- Collaborate within the FCTG Change Community of Practice to share tools and lessons learned.
