About the Role
As a Guidewire Technical Architect (w/m/x), you will take responsibility for challenging transformation projects, develop future-proof cloud architectures, and support our clients in modernizing their core insurance systems. You will work with experienced experts and develop innovative solutions based on the Guidewire Cloud Platform and InsuranceSuite.
Responsibilities
- You are responsible for the technical architecture of Guidewire projects at leading insurance companies in the German-speaking market and support their transformation and modernization.
- You conceptualize, implement, and develop solutions based on the Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP) and/or Guidewire InsuranceSuite, ensuring scalability, performance, security, and operational stability.
- You define modern cloud, integration, and API architectures and translate business requirements into future-proof technical solutions.
- You advise clients at eye level on target architectures, operating models, and technological roadmaps and act as a technical sparring partner for business departments, architecture teams, and management.
- You support presales and business development activities, present viable solution architectures, and successfully leverage your network and Guidewire expertise.
Requirements
- You have several years of experience as a Guidewire Technical Architect, Lead Architect, or in a comparable architecture role in the insurance environment.
- You have demonstrable project experience in the Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP) and/or Guidewire InsuranceSuite, as well as sound knowledge of PolicyCenter and/or ClaimCenter.
- You possess very good knowledge of modern cloud, integration, and API architectures and experience in modernizing core insurance systems.
- You convince with fluent German language skills, communicate confidently with business departments, architecture committees, and management, and are familiar with the requirements of German insurance companies.
- Ideally, you have Guidewire certifications, experience with BillingCenter, InfoCenter, or Integration Gateway, knowledge of regulatory requirements, and experience working with offshore delivery centers.
