About the Role

This field-based leadership position oversees 7-9 Family Access Managers, focusing on developing, coaching, and guiding a patient-facing team within the commercial neuromuscular business. The role aims to help patients start and stay on therapy by building strong relationships with healthcare providers and supporting patients in the maintenance phase of treatment. It also involves engaging with patient advocacy groups and collaborating with other field leaders to execute regional strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with matrix partners to develop and execute regional and local strategic plans.
  • Support the build and execution of individual development plans.
  • Provide regular coaching and quarterly feedback against annual goals.
  • Lead cross-functional work to generate innovative solutions for patient access barriers (insurance, logistics).
  • Improve site of care efficiencies and effectiveness.
  • Drive internal team excellence.
  • Lead the team in supporting patient-driven initiatives, tools, and resources.
  • Work with colleagues and leadership to evolve capabilities and long-term strategies.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of relevant sales, marketing, or reimbursement industry experience.
  • 3+ years of leading a team in the biotech, pharma, or medical device industry.
  • Proven examples of leadership impact on culture, people development, and execution success against business goals.
  • High level of emotional intelligence and self-awareness.
  • Ability to coach team members in a highly matrixed and challenging/changing environment.
  • Proven ability to identify process or other issues and challenge the status quo for resolution while maintaining a high degree of compliance.
  • Demonstrated leadership in collaboration and innovation.
  • Successful track record in a competitive environment.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to travel up to 60% weekly.

  • $184,000.00-$253,000.00
