About the Role

Clarity Wellness Community is seeking a full-time Home-Based Crisis Intervention (HBCI) Provider to support children and families in Allegany and Wyoming counties. The role focuses on empowering and stabilizing families through short-term, intensive support to prevent unnecessary psychiatric hospitalizations for youth ages 5-21.

Responsibilities

• Provide flexible, family-centered services by scheduling sessions at convenient times.
• Conduct timely intakes, assessments, and individualized treatment plans focusing on recovery and strengths.
• Offer crisis intervention, de-escalation, safety planning, and motivational support to youth and families.
• Collaborate with families and community providers to communicate care, set goals, and connect clients to appropriate resources.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health, or a related field.
• Must be licensed by the New York State Education Department and operate within the practitioner's scope of practice.
• Licensed mental health providers include: Licensed Psychologists, Licensed Clinical/Masters Social Workers, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists, Licensed Mental Health Counselors, and Licensed Creative Arts Therapists.
• Unlicensed MA staff with at least one year of relevant experience in community-based mental health or case management may be considered.
