About the Role

This role will support the Treasury Manager in managing and overseeing activities related to cash management and banking services for PL Re Group Companies. It involves managing cash positions, ensuring fund availability, and facilitating accurate and timely transmission of cash payments and receipts. The role also supports strategic treasury projects, business readiness for transactions, advising on best practices for treasury operations, and contributing to a back-office transformation project to redesign and modernize global treasury processes.

Responsibilities

  • Execute domestic and cross-border payments, including foreign exchange (FX) transactions, in accordance with treasury policies, controls, and delegated authorities.
  • Manage daily cash positions, liquidity, funding requirements, and short- and long-term cash forecasting across multiple entities, bank accounts, and currencies.
  • Support bank and investment account administration, including reconciliations, KYC requirements, signatory management, and treasury documentation, ensuring compliance with internal policies and controls.
  • Prepare treasury reporting and management information, including cash, liquidity, investment, and banking metrics, and support month-end, quarter-end, and audit activities.
  • Monitor investment portfolios and support compliance with Treasury Investment Policy and approved investment guidelines.
  • Contribute to treasury projects, transformation initiatives, process automation, and continuous improvement efforts, while providing ad hoc analysis and maintaining high standards of accuracy, documentation, and timeliness.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of treasury, finance, cash management, or related experience within a large, complex organization.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions, time zones, and levels of the organization.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (PivotTables, Power Query, Power BI, Lookups).
  • Proactive, adaptable mindset and commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
