About the Role
The Sr. Landscape Design Professional will coordinate and undertake planning, development, production, and delivery of projects within the Planning practice. This role requires independent action, decision-making, and the ability to supervise others, contributing to HOK's mission of improving lives, serving clients, and healing the planet.
Responsibilities
- Develops, modifies, and reviews planning documents according to established standards.
- Works on a full range of assignments in the delivery of all project phases and construction administration.
- Develops, modifies and reviews master plan reports, construction documents and specifications.
- Develops solutions to technical and design problems following established standards.
- Incorporates Integrated Sustainable Design solutions into projects.
- Displays ability to create design concepts and expresses graphically.
- Compiles data and performs elementary design computations.
- Performs benchmarking research on programming, comparable projects and images.
- Assures HOK document standards are met and archives documents appropriately.
- May assist team in construction administration document management.
- Reads and understands Agreements to Work within budget, schedule, work plan and client constraints.
- May mentor and direct the work of intern staff.
- Actively promotes collaborative and innovative culture.
- Fosters a commitment to external and internal client service.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture or architecture plus 8+ years’ experience required.
- Master’s degree in landscape architecture or urban design may also be required.
- LEED credential required within 6 months of employment.

- $85,000 to $115,000
