About the Role
As a Phlebotomist/Administrative Assistant, you will provide an exceptional patient experience by delivering venipuncture and clinical support services. You will serve as the first point of contact, managing the office environment and assisting providers to ensure seamless, high-quality care.
Responsibilities
- Utilize C-I-CARE framework for all patient interactions
- Manage patient intake, scheduling, and billing/insurance verification
- Provide venipuncture services for patients ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics
- Perform clinical duties including non-blood specimen collection, EKGs/ECGs, vitals, ear lavages, vaccines, PPD tests, and swabs
- Maintain standards for specimen labeling, handling, processing, and tool sterilization
- Assist providers with clerical tasks such as biometric screening forms, medical record reviews, and DOH reporting
- Perform front-of-house duties including check-in/check-out and paperwork
- Contribute to team development through rounding and team huddles
- Maintain office upkeep, organization, and supply restocking
- Utilize technology suite including Slack, G-suite, Zoom, Circulation, RingCentral, and Electronic Medical Record systems
Requirements
- At least 6 months of relevant experience as a Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist outside of training/externship
- Active phlebotomy certification to practice in CA
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in computer technology and multi-tasking across software systems
- Experience working on collaborative, diverse, multi-disciplinary teams
- Ability to instill trust during the collection process
- Proven track record of adapting to change and learning new tasks quickly

- Monday-Friday, 7:30am - 6:30pm

Salary/Compensations
- $26.25 to $28.25 per hour
