About the Role
We are seeking a dependable, hardworking Laborer to join our team at our winery in New York's beautiful Finger Lakes region. This position offers the opportunity to work in a winery environment, assisting with a variety of vineyard and winery tasks throughout the season. No prior winery experience is required—we're willing to train motivated individuals with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
Responsibilities
- Process, package, label, and bottle the product
- Organize, stock, and maintain inventory in the tasting room and warehouses
- Inspect products for defects and damages
- Examine ingoing and outgoing shipments
- Organize warehouse space
- Abide by all company safety regulations
- Communicate errors to relevant parties
- Mark and label stock
- Load and wrap stock on pallets
- Make deliveries, load, and unload delivery vehicles
- Execute necessary repairs and light construction
- Maintain landscaping and lawn maintenance
- Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehouse procedures
- Keep warehouse and production buildings clean and organized daily
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must have forklift certification
- Physically strong, agile, and dexterous
- Ability to lift or move heavy products
