About the Role

Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash handling and balancing.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding accounts, banking services, and policies.
• Identify and prevent fraud by verifying currency and monetary instruments.
• Perform daily ATM and night depository reconciliations.
• Ensure branch safety and security by following opening and closing protocols.
• Identify opportunities for additional products and services, referring customers as needed.
• Promote self-service banking options to customers.
• Maintain an organized work area and perform administrative tasks.
• Stay up-to-date on federal regulations and company policies.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of experience in customer service, cash handling, or retail sales preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Demonstrated commitment to high-quality customer service.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Sound judgment, discretion, and integrity when handling confidential information.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to remain stationary, often standing, for prolonged periods.
• Ability to repetitively use a telephone, computer mouse, and keyboard.
• Ability to move, lift, and carry cash bags, coin boxes, and branch equipment up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to travel to various branches as needed.
• Ability to participate in a rotational Saturday schedule.
