About the Role

Responsibilities
- Leads practical applications of scientific theory and complex processes in product line development and technical management.
- Leads research, development, and implementation of new products and product enhancements.
- Interacts with key customers to resolve complex process engineering issues and address High Value Problems (HVP).
- Leads alpha engineering programs for all process technology related issues.
- Responsible for alpha and beta product release.
- Participates in strategic planning to integrate R&D processes with business plans.
- Identifies, selects, and works with vendors and suppliers.

- Recognized as a "guru" or external expert in a function.
- Demonstrates broad and comprehensive expertise in leading-edge theories, techniques, and technologies within own field.
- Influences internal/external business and/or regulatory issues.
- Leads highly visible multidisciplinary project teams or initiatives.
- Proactively identifies and solves the most complex problems using groundbreaking methods.
- Impacts business direction through the development of innovative services or products.
- Negotiates with senior management, customers, regulators, or vendors to influence decisions.
