About the Role

We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our team and help define, shape, and deliver high-quality analysis across a range of projects and product initiatives. You will play an important role in helping teams understand business needs, translate them into clear requirements, and deliver solutions that create value across our club. Working closely with stakeholders, delivery teams, and suppliers, you will bridge the gap between business and technology.

  • Gather and define requirements by facilitating workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions to understand needs and translate them into clear, structured requirements.
  • Create delivery artefacts such as BRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases, process flows, and journey maps that support effective solution delivery.
  • Map supporter journeys and processes, helping to define current and future-state experiences and identifying opportunities to improve how supporters engage with our club.
  • Manage requirement changes by assessing impacts, supporting prioritization, and ensuring changes are clearly communicated to stakeholders.
  • Drive stakeholder engagement by building trusted relationships across our club and working with colleagues and suppliers to maintain alignment and momentum.
  • Champion best practice by supporting continuous improvement in business analysis, delivery standards, and ways of working while prioritizing equality, diversity, and inclusion.

Requirements

  • Proven Business Analyst experience with a track record of delivering analysis across projects or product initiatives.
  • Ability to confidently manage requirements through their lifecycle.
  • Digital or customer-focused initiative experience is advantageous.
  • Comfortable facilitating interviews, workshops, and requirements gathering sessions with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate business needs into clear, testable requirements.
  • Experience in creating process flows and end-to-end journey maps that help drive improvement and clarity.
  • Experience working across Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments and understanding technology delivery lifecycles.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio, or Lucidchart and ability to use them to support delivery and collaboration.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships, communicate clearly, and engage effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
