About the Role

As our Lifestyle and Wellbeing Coordinator, you will play a vital role in enriching the lives of our residents by creating experiences, events, and moments that matter. This role involves bringing thought, creativity, and meaning to everyday life, from one-to-one interactions to shared experiences, contributing to a home that enriches lives daily. You will join a supportive culture at Riverlee Residential and Nursing Home, an Investors in People Gold accredited and not-for-profit organization.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver meaningful experiences and events that reflect residents’ interests, preferences and lifestyles
  • Get to know every resident as an individual, supporting them to take part in experiences they enjoy and encouraging them to explore new opportunities
  • Work collaboratively with your team to create a positive and inclusive environment that shapes everyday life
  • Build connections within the home and beyond to help enhance the resident experience
  • Bring fresh ideas, creativity and a sense of curiosity to the role, elevating everyday experiences into something meaningful, social and engaging

Requirements

  • A caring, enthusiastic and kind approach with a genuine interest in older people
  • Strong teamwork skills and a willingness to support colleagues
  • Good communication skills and a flexible approach to your work
  • Energy, creativity and confidence to engage others
  • A commitment to treating everyone with dignity and respect
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Willingness to undergo safeguarding and pre-employment checks

Skills

  • Wellbeing Assistant experience
  • Activities Coordinator experience
  • Event planning and management experience

Location

Work Type

  • 28 Hours per week

Salary/Compensations

  • £13.80 per hour
