About the Role

FTSE Russell, part of LSEG, powers global benchmarks and index solutions, providing technology, data, and products to help investors measure, manage, and capture market opportunities. As we modernize our platforms and scale capabilities, our engineers play a critical role in delivering innovative solutions for clients worldwide. We are seeking hands-on engineers to modernize and scale the FTSE platform, a cloud-native, low-latency system operating at global scale and underpinning critical investment products. You will tackle challenging software engineering problems where performance, data quality, and reliability are paramount, utilizing modern cloud (AWS) and AI-assisted development tools.

Responsibilities

Modernize and scale the FTSE platform.
Work on challenging software engineering problems.
Leverage modern cloud (AWS) and AI-assisted development tooling.
Improve engineering productivity using AI-assisted development tooling.

Requirements

Experience developing software using Java, Python, C++, C#, or similar technologies.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
Knowledge of CI/CD, automation, testing, and modern engineering practices.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Interest in AI and emerging technologies.
Ability to collaborate effectively across global teams.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
