About the Role

Provide administrative support to senior employees within the Global Investment Banking group.

Responsibilities

  • Distribute mail and coordinate courier service.
  • Answer and screen telephone calls courteously and professionally.
  • Make domestic and international travel arrangements and handle changes.
  • Coordinate meeting arrangements, including conference calls, room scheduling, reservations, and catering.
  • Manage multiple calendars.
  • Prepare, track, and manage expense reports via the expense reporting system.
  • Act as backup to other department staff members.
  • Perform other duties or special projects as assigned.
  • Proactively identify operational risks and control deficiencies.
  • Review and comply with Firm Policies applicable to business activities.
  • Promptly escalate operational risk loss events, control deficiencies, and risks to line manager and relevant risk/control functions.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience; administrative experience preferred but not required.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects.
  • Demonstrated computer skills, with an emphasis on MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Good organization, follow-through, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to take initiative, function independently, and work in a team.
  • Maintain the highest standards of professional and ethical conduct.
  • Ability to keep confidential matters private.
