About the Role
The Barista creates and serves specialty hot and cold beverages while providing high-quality, fast-paced service across multiple QSR counters. This role requires deep product knowledge and the ability to maintain exceptional guest service standards in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve authentic Italian espresso, coffee, and café drinks at multiple counters
- Provide guests with exceptional service and detailed product information
- Set up stations and replenish displays while maintaining allergen separation
- Ensure all items are dated and follow First in First Out (FIFO) standards
- Weigh, grind, and pack coffee beans per guest specifications
- Operate the Point of Sales (POS) system with accuracy
- Clean and sanitize work areas according to health agency standards
- Work across all QSR counters serving pastry, gelato, pizza, and other delicacies
- Maintain a calm demeanor during high-volume periods
Requirements
- Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending, and squatting
- Ability to operate equipment such as manual espresso machines, ovens, blenders, and juicers
- Dexterity for rapid and consistent espresso creation
Skills
- Knowledge of coffee, tea, and drink preparation
- Outstanding communication skills

- Basic mathematical calculations
