About the Role
This entry-level role provides a foundation in system, product, and sales enablement knowledge, preparing you for Regional Account Management and Inventory Management teams. You will gain analytical and problem-solving skills, master system navigation, and understand Customer Operations within the Medical Device industry. We seek a passionate individual who excels at supporting others, building strong relationships, and thrives in a fast-paced environment requiring quick decisions and deep product/system knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Support Regional Account Management and Field Sales teams by managing a shared regional email inbox and handling phone calls.
- Manage relationships between sales and internal departments to resolve issues (Accounts Receivable, Compliance, Credentialing, etc.).
- Provide basic product knowledge (portfolio, labeling, competitors, applications) and advise on product/brand specific policies (returns, inventory management).
- Process transactional support including order evaluation, replacements, samples, bulk buys, personal inventory, and transfers.
- Provide Accounts Receivable support, including invoice investigation, credits/debits, and contract investigation.
- Conduct research for serial number history, device tracking, reporting, credentialing, sales history, and field searches.
- Follow up on tracking information, order status, and return labels.
- Offer general Field Sales Representative support, including locating forms/documents, clarifying account pricing, resolving territory alignment issues, and providing sales reporting.
Requirements
- Strong oral and written communication skills with adaptable delivery.
- Ability to multitask, managing inbound calls, email, and ad hoc reporting requests.
- Exceptional internal and external relationship-building skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, CRM/ERP systems, and end-to-end customer operations processes.
- Proficiency in a metrics-driven environment emphasizing efficiency and individual production.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a client-facing role with a similar function.
