About the Role
The Account Manager will serve as the primary liaison between clients and creative teams, managing daily account health, ensuring project progression, and guaranteeing timely and budget-conscious delivery of high-quality work. This role requires a deep understanding of the creative product and client business to effectively advocate for the work and manage client expectations.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for assigned client accounts, fostering excellent relationships.
- Manage agency projects from inception to completion in collaboration with internal teams and external Producers, ensuring flawless execution of deliverables.
- Partner with Data and Strategy teams to gather, analyze, and interpret business and consumer data to identify opportunities.
- Establish client budgets, manage conflict resolution, ensure timely deliverables, write creative briefs, and approve client payments.
- Ensure alignment between client goals and agency objectives by working with strategy, data, creative, production, and media teams.
- Manage contracts and renewals, and identify new opportunities beneficial to both the client and the company.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and 3+ years of experience in an agency or related field.
- Demonstrated project management and client services leadership experience.
- Experience in advertising and/or campaign management with a strategic and tactical understanding of the current brand marketing landscape.
- Possess an action-oriented mindset with a strong focus on outcomes.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with responsibility for project profitability and scheduling.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships, collaborate effectively across teams, and resolve conflicts constructively.
- Aptitude for all aspects of project planning, including estimating and resource allocation.
- Ability to effectively translate and communicate client requirements, statements of work, and scope-of-work documents.
- Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Executive-level written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present effectively and read a room.
