About the Role

The Product Manager – High Speed Digital Instruments will manage NI’s diverse portfolio of high-speed digital instruments, driving the roadmap and investment strategy for high-speed digital instrumentation within Emerson T&M. This role involves cross-functional collaboration to guide new investments from concept to release and ensure post-release success, while exploring emerging digital test requirements to meet future industry needs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead product exploration and definition process, working with engineers to define product requirements, and actively engaging with the team to ensure successful delivery.
  • Define product investment strategies that consider tradeoffs both short and long-term.
  • Collaborate with business leadership to optimize a product portfolio by combining customer, technology, industry, and competitive insights.
  • Build key relationships and credibility within a technology-driven environment.
  • Champion customer needs and priorities based on deep customer engagement.
  • Support sales to help win deals and gather customer feedback.
  • Measure product success, reporting out regularly to internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor key technological trends affecting cutting-edge test applications across the semiconductor, electronics and aerospace & defense markets.
  • Manage products in market and respond to market feedback.
  • Define clear strategic investment priorities by assessing and prioritizing investments for new products in target market spaces.
  • Achieve strong profitable growth by driving revenue, contribution margin, and share gain for selected product(s), ensuring a clear understanding of what measures will drive results.
  • Build a customer-focused culture by regularly seeking and sharing feedback, implementing initiatives to act on that feedback, and providing a competitive edge through Go-To-Market strategy.
  • Celebrate important customer wins and product successes.

Requirements

  • BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineer, or related technical field
  • Technical understanding of semiconductor and digital interface technologies
  • 7+ years’ experience in engineering, test, and/or sales/marketing roles
  • Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Strong technical aptitude and motivation to develop deep domain expertise
  • Strong communication skills, including writing and presenting
  • Effective time management skills and strong work ethic
  • Willingness to travel up to 30%, including international travel
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States - sponsorship will not be provided for this role
