About the Role

As a Business Associate in Corporate Finance (CF) Japan, you will support the execution of strategic plans, conduct key decision-making for business management, liaise with global partners and stakeholders, and lead transversal topics for the CF Japan COO function.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and executing strategic business plans to ensure business growth for Japan.
  • Analyze and research markets by assembling and interpreting information about coverage industries and clients to enhance business development.
  • Monitor competitor activity and identify market trends.
  • Analyze the potential impact of adopting best practices and transformational changes.
  • Optimize CRM management by cleansing, automating, and maintaining prospective client information and pipeline deal transactions.
  • Coordinate multiple projects to achieve specific business goals within a set timeframe.
  • Collaborate proactively with various related teams.
  • Serve as a trusted partner to stakeholders on strategic planning and business transformational initiatives.

Requirements

  • Ability to perform complex data analysis by extracting appropriate data.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools such as Salesforce, including building/leveraging reports and dashboards.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and ad-hoc analyses.
  • Experience in database management and data cleaning.
  • Strong research and analytical skills with an independent and effective problem-solving approach in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to communicate convincingly and effectively with key decision-makers across business lines.
  • Capacity to drive change and manage multiple, varied subjects and projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrate strong coordination and negotiation skills.
  • Advanced team skills essential for effective coordination and negotiation.
  • 5+ years of business experience.
  • Work experience with US corporate entities in business development, investment banking, or strategic consulting is preferred.
