Responsibilities

• Create and manage software project plans in close cooperation with electronics project managers for customer and internal development projects in the safety-critical e-bike environment.
• Coordinate all software activities, from planning and schedule control to measure tracking, and regularly report on project status in relevant portals and committees.
• Steer and lead interdisciplinary software project teams (internal & external) purposefully and ensure close coordination with test management.
• Plan and lead software release gates and ensure timely implementation of milestones.
• Analyze demanding customer specifications, derive software requirements, and manage their coordination and release with internal and external stakeholders.
• Review and manage software documentation (e.g., SWDD, SWRS) and provide technical support to adjacent areas such as manufacturing and testing.

Requirements

• Completed degree in electrical engineering, technical computer science, or a comparable course of study.
• Sound knowledge in embedded software development as well as in modern software development and testing methods.
• Practical experience with software development processes and in software project management (agile and classic).
• Strong ability for team coordination, paired with a structured way of working and solution-oriented thinking.
• Communication skills, the ability to maintain an overview, and an eye for detail.
• Very good German language skills (C1) and good English language skills (C1) in speaking and writing.
